Specialist Advisors
Mindzone Media can supply, at short notice, Clinical Psychologists (Chartered and HCPC registered) with specialist expert experience for any type of television or filming project in the UK or Overseas. This may include pre-production screening, support during production (on/off rig) and post-TX support. We work across all televisions genres, as well as commercials/marketing projects, television dramas and mainstream films, including storyline development, script reviews, consultation and support for actors, compliance reviews, podcasts, as well as performance art projects.
Specialist support is further extended to the production team and talent who may be at risk of exposure to difficult and emotive material, or due to undertake a physically or psychologically challenging project, such as immersive projects, blue lights series, and undercover reporting. Consultation for preparation for such projects, and managing the decompression and reverse culture shock is further offered.
Whilst productions may employ a Media Psychologist / TV Psychologist, this title is a generic self-assigned title and does not guarantee any degree of training or professional accreditation or proficiency. Our team are all Chartered Clinical Psychologists with British Psychological Society (BPS), registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as Practitioner Psychologists (protected title), with Practitioner Doctorates in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych). This offers an assurance of a high standard of training and qualification, competence and accreditation.
Compliance and Safety Advisors
Compliance is a complex subject and often requires professional advice from Clinicians with experience of complex presentations to help maintain the integrity of the production, and the safety of the contributors, in order to minimise risk to contributors and risk of legal implications. Mindzone Media provides highly experienced and qualified Clinical Psychologists who understand your production requirements and will work in partnership to achieve a safe and successful production.
Mental Health Training / Mental Health Awareness
Training workshops are offered to improve production team's knowledge of mental health presentations for contributors and talent, minimise attrition and wastage, maintain the rights and dignity of vulnerable individuals, manage risk appropriately, supporting compliance requirements, and raising awareness for production team's self-care.
